  1. I believe the author typed this novel because all he really wants is to show that we have to care for teen suicide situations across the world. There is a moral to the story. That moral is that everyones actions will affect others and yourself in many ways. Those effects could be both positive and, or negatative. I believe that we can learn to help better understand others and their issues, along with learning how to treat others.

  2. The author wrote this book because he wants to let readers know your actions have consequences. Just like Hannahs "friends" they all were the reason why she commited suicide.

  3. I believe that the author wrote this novel to show how teen suicide is a real serious issue. Also to tell us that any little thing you do to someone can effect someone greatly. The actions of the people in the book are all a cause to Hannah's death. What can be learned from this novel is that you can look into people and see if anything is wrong with them to help them.

  4. @ Ruben- I agree with you beacuse everyones actions lead to a consequence. I believe that the people in the book were not really her friends too and it made me wonder if she had any real friends. Also the novel tells us how someones actions to someone else, you don't know how the effected person will react.

  5. The authors main purpose in writing this book was to help show people that bullying and suicide is a big thing around the world. Jay wants us to do something about it to try to help kids that want to end their lives.
