The most important part in the novel is when Yummy calls his grandma to pick him up. This is the climax because he wants to go home and turn himself in. I think he did this because he understood finally that running is the wrong thing to do. Also i feel that he was scared because he is just a little kid.

@ Jose-I think that this is also the climax because Yummy does realize that being ikn a gang is bad and that he can't keep running forever.
The most important part of this novel was when yummy shot & killed Shavon. I think that this is the most important part because If he didn't shoot & killed Shavon then he wouldn't have got killed himself. This is the climax of the book becuase yummy couldn't turn back what he did to Shavon. I think that the character acted this way becuase he never had his mom or dad & his grandmother was there but she had alot of other kids to take care of thats why she couldn't really watch over Yummy the way she was suppose to.
@ Jose- I don't agree with you because if yummy would have never killed Shavon he wouldnt be calling his grandmother.
The most important part in the novel was when Yummy shot shavon on accident and everyone was looking for him. I think this was the climax because this is part of the reason why Yummy was killed because no one would rest until they found this 11 year old boy. Yummy acted this way because he was scared and was sorry and he also didn't know what to do and he just wanted to go home.
