  1. This book was not that good, theres were times when the book was off topic. It would be better if there was more football action and less sadness with the famliys problems. the weakness of this book is that miles didnt seem to fit in with the whole football player role. i would not recommend this book

  2. I enjoyed reading this novel because it was really interesting, and everything that happened in the novel, happens to teens in really life. My favorite part was the ending when Miles got Lucia because we was finally happy and satified. In the whole story Miles was stressed and not happy. But at the end he was finally happy with things. My least favorite part in the novel was when Miles got the drugs because he really didnt need them. All he needed to do was get stronger the old fashion was,by lifting weights. The strengths of the novel is that it focuses on teens. Stuff that happens in the book, really do happen to teens in really life. So teens can related to the book. The weaknesses of the book was that it was a football book, but the author really didnt include that much football scenes in the book. It wouldve been better if the author wouldve included more football because maybe thats what caught some peoples attention when they saw the cover. But overall it was a really good book and i would recommend it anyone. But i would most strongly recommend it to my guy friends who are into sports, especially who play football. I would mostly recommend it to them because they would understand it better, and possibly relate to it.

  3. I liked the book because I could relate to a lot of what Miles went through. Having a hard time with school, coaches, and attitude. I also could relate to finding a girl that makes u happy like Lucia makes Miles. The only thing I didn't like was the author would get off topic at certain parts of the book, It didn't talk about football as much as I was expecting, but I still enjoyed reading it.

  4. @erick.... Yeah man teens do get pushed to use drugs when they play in a team. Sometimes i had a hard time with my coach, i wanted to talk back but i knew that, i would not get a chance a play again

  5. @Jesus-yeah your right, the book really didnt talk alot about football, but i think the author did that so that most teens like and understand the book. Most teens that dont play football wouldnt be able to uderstand the book or connect to it because they dont know much about football. But i dont agree with you about it not being a good book because it didnt really talk about football. The author did get off topic at times, but he kept the book interesting, and the events that happen in the book, most teens that dont play football can connect to them.

  6. @Jesus- Most of the time they didn't even talk about football. They talked more about what Miles was thinking about more than anything. I wish there was more imformation about the games themselves. But with every book like this, there is a lesson to be learned from it. Another thing i didn't like was that the author would be talking about one story then the next paragraph would be a totally different story. I feel like he didn't finish telling the reader what happens fully.
