Thirteen Reasons Why: a novel by Jay Asher

    The phrase that stood out to me the most in the novel, Thirteen Reasons Why, is: "But what if there's something in these tapes that could hurt me?" (Asher, 16). I chose this phrase because it is the main reason why Clay Jensen can not press STOP.

    The sentence that stands out to me the most is "Did they keep their receipts as sick souvenirs?" from page three. I choosed this sentence because it made me wonder out of the people who recieved the cassettes and had to mail it to the other people on the list, who actually did keep a receipt. Also, just from reading one of what the cassettes said, i would be scared to keep anything as a souvenir.

    The sentence that stood out the most is "If you're on the list, you should've received a map". I wonder if this map would lead them to all the mess that made Hannah kill herself.

    @Eladio - Hy Eladio I agree with your phrase. It intrigues me how well proposed you are toward the novel itself. Although I feel as though you aren't looking at the bigger picture. The book is on the reasons why, and I believe it will be more interesting for you to relate your phrase on more of why she killed herself.

    The part that stood out to me the most to me is where she talks abut the map. Does everyone in the tape recording have the map too?

    @elad. Thats what I thought. I never knew though way she did it in cassetes. This is the future and she could have video taped herself.
